Maya Sultan is Andson's Bio-MEMs intern. She is an undergraduate researcher at the Sulchek BioMEMS and Biomechanics Lab at Georgia Institute of Technology, where she has been working part-time since May 2023. Maya is dedicated to developing cost-effective fabrication methods for rigid microfluidic devices that enable high-pressure flow.
Her work includes conducting extensive research and literature reviews, testing chemical treatments to enhance the biocompatibility of devices, and conducting microfluidic experiments with cell lines to assess cell-material interactions. Maya brings a strong background in bio-MEMS and a passion for advancing microfluidic technologies to our team.
