Jim Filippini is our Chief Operating Officer, bringing more than 25 years of sales and management experience in the life science tools market.

Prior to joining Andson Biotech Jim was the Chief Commercial Officer at Axion Biosystems. He led Axion through a decade of consistent double-digit growth while building a global commercial team for sales, marketing and support. He was a key member of the senior leadership team that coordinated a successful exit to Summa Equity.

Throughout his career he has focused on building high performing commercial teams and has been involved with over a dozen successful commercial launches at Axion Biosystems, Molecular Devices(now Danaher), and Varian.

Jim has a BS in Biology from Albright College and an MBA from Penn State University. During his spare time Jim enjoys cooking and traveling with his wife and four children, and home remodeling.
