Casey brings a decade of in vitro, in vivo, and clinical laboratory experience leading projects and grants in immunology, engineering, biomaterials, regenerative medicine, molecular biology, and public health for injury and disease. She currently serves as a Senior Scientist.
Throughout her career, Casey has gained valuable experience in biomaterial-based nanoparticle therapeutics for immune cell modulation and disease treatment, pre-clinical model development and characterization, and assay development for disease diagnostics.
Casey holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and Emory University, and a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park.
