Andson Biotech to Showcase DynaChip™ Platform Advancing Automated Native MS and CDMS at ASMS 2026 in San Diego

Atlanta, GA — May 6, 2026 — Andson Biotech will exhibit at the 73rd American Society for Mass Spectrometry (ASMS) Conference, taking place May 31–June 4, 2026, in San Diego, California. At Booth 715, the company will showcase its DynaChip X1TM platform, highlighting how automated microfluidic online buffer exchange is transforming native mass spectrometry (nMS) and charge detection mass spectrometry (CDMS) workflows across drug discovery, biotherapeutics characterization, and bioprocess monitoring.

Native MS provides powerful, label-free insights into biomolecular structure, interactions, and higher-order complexes, yet adoption has been hindered by manual buffer exchange, complex nanoESI workflows, and low throughput. The DynaChip X1TM platform addresses these barriers with rapid, automated online buffer exchange and integrated, reproducible nanoelectrospray ionization, enabling sample-to-result workflows in under 15 minutes while preserving native conformations.

Designed for versatility, DynaChipTM supports a broad range of analytes—from proteins and monoclonal antibodies to mRNA and adeno-associated viruses (AAVs)—while maintaining non-covalent interactions and enabling extended acquisition times needed for advanced techniques such as charge detection MS (CDMS) measurements. The platform’s tangential flow filtration and microdialysis approach enables efficient desalting, removing of metabolites, detergents, and interferents without compromising structural integrity.

At ASMS 2026, Andson will highlight new workflows for high-throughput protein–ligand screening, where DynaChipTM eliminates manual desalting and removes non-binding ligands during analysis while preserving protein-ligand complexes. This enables label-free detection of binding interactions in physiological buffers and supports scalable screening workflows for drug discovery.

The company will also showcase expanded capabilities for direct analysis from complex biological matrices, including cell culture and crude spent media. By removing matrix components that suppress ionization, DynaChipTM enables untargeted, label-free analysis of secreted factors, supporting real-time, in-process monitoring of cell and gene therapy manufacturing. In collaborative studies, the platform has also demonstrated at-line monitoring of monoclonal antibody production, capturing glycosylation and higher-order structural changes across bioprocess conditions in approximately 15 minutes.

Additional studies highlight improved recovery and sensitivity for complex biotherapeutics, including charge variant and antibody–drug conjugate (ADC) characterization, by eliminating sample loss associated with traditional offline cleanup methods.

Andson Biotech will be represented on multiple posters and a talk demonstrating DynaChipTM-enabled innovation:
